Intellectual Property Rights
NearScrap is owned and managed under the copyright act. All aspects of the NearScrap website and application, such as the designs, transactional flow, look and feel, contents, graphics, and images including the logo are protected. Users are restricted from downloading, reusing, reconfiguring, or imitating any of the proprietary material without prior written consent.
Use of NearScrap
NearScrap provides a common platform for Sellers (individuals or entities owning scrap material) and Service Partners to facilitate scrap collection and recycling. Users must use communication channels only for intended purposes. Violation of these terms may result in legal action or suspension of access.
Terms for Sellers
- Our services are primarily available via our mobile application and website for better interaction and tracking.
- Users must provide an accurate address for the free pick-up service. Bookings can be made via the App or Web.
- Rates may vary depending on location and time. We strive to provide the best market rates, which will be confirmed at the time of pickup.
- There will be no return of scrap/trash once sold and collected, as it enters the recycling process immediately.
- Scrap items not listed in the App/Web rate chart will be evaluated on the spot by our pickup team.
- We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule pickup requests due to operational constraints.
Changes to Policies
NearScrap reserves the right to modify or replace these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or app notifications. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
